Multi Step Carpet Cleaning Procedure-
(additional steps may be added due to clients needs, carpets needs, carpet type and soiling conditions at no extra charge)
1. Pre-Inspection of areas to be cleaned
Our Technician will do a walk through inspection with you to identify soiling conditions, carpet construction, and potential permanent stains.
2. Pre-Treatment & Pre-Spotting
Traffic areas are pre-treated with a traffic lane treatment. Certain spots are pre-treated for maximum removal.
3. Pre-Agitate Carpet
Your carpet will be pre-groomed or power scrubbed with a rotary machine. Helps loosen embedded soils
4. Low Moisture Hot Steam Soil Extraction
Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly flush the carpet fibers. Pressure and heat are regulated to prevent the carpet from being over-wet.
5. PH Neutralizing Rinse
The pH is balanced on every carpet and fabric cleaned. This is one of the most important steps according to the manufacturers of carpet. It is accomplished during the extract & rinse process or a post spray will be applied.
6. Dry Extraction’s insuring a Quick Drying of Clean Carpet
This important step removes excess moisture and insures fast drying of carpet
7. Furniture Moving (see note 1)
Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved. Larger pieces, such as beds and dressers are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs. This would be at an additional cost.
8. Speed Dry (see note 2)
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet to lessen the drying time. This would be at an additional cost by request only.
9. Protect furniture legs
Furniture will be protected by placing blocks or plastic tabs under all legs. Do not remove for 24hrs.
10. Apply Deodorizer “Fresh N Clean”
Fresh N Clean is an all new deodorizer that smells just like it sounds, “fresh and clean”. Fresh N Clean is a general deodorizer not for use on pet urine odors.
11. Apply 3M Scotchgard Carpet Protector (additional cost)
3M Scotchgard™ surrounds carpet and upholstery fibers with an invisible barrier that protects against oil and water-based stains. When spills and accidents do occur, you have more time to get the spot up before it becomes a stain – helping ensure the carpet stays looking newer and fresher for longer
12. Walk Through Inspection with Home Owner
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
13. Completion of Work
Once all services are final a receipt is provided along with shoe covers for the entire family plus one for a guest, along with an industrial strength bottle of spot remover.
Notes:
1. Sofas, love seats, large heavy furniture & electronics can be moved at additional charge.
2. Air movers are used at technicians discretion. If home has a lot of paperwork, items that can easily blow around or off walls, air mover will not be installed.
